Laurie graduated from Concordia University in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Therapy. As a Certified Athletic Therapist, she has an expertise in the assessment and rehabilitation of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, both in athletes and the general population. Laurie also holds the title of first sports responder and works with several sports teams in this capacity.
Laurie is an avid athlete who loves to challenge herself by trying out new sports and physical activities. Her favorites are winter and water sports, including downhill skiing, alpine hiking and sailing. It was during her six years as a sailing coach that Laurie discovered she loved studying the biomechanics of the human body, and this is largely what led her to become an athletic therapist.
