
Mary Jackie Shanmugam graduated from Queen's University in 2010 with a Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has a lot of experience in the realm of musculoskeletal, cognitive and mental health rehabilitation in both the public and private sector.
She works in mental health (mood disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, and phobias) as well as hand therapy (notably post-operative treatment), driving assessments, functional capacity evaluations and work hardening programs. Jackie has worked with a variety of providers from CNESST, SAAQ and private insurance companies. She uses various holistic approaches to help her clients return to meaningful activities specifically self-care, productivity and leisure.
In her spare time, Jackie loves to spend time with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors or trying out new restaurants. She loves to travel and interact with new people and different cultures.
