Osteopathy and perinatal care
Osteopathy is a holistic manual approach based on prevention and improving the quality of your life. The aim is to restore the body’s equilibrium and the proper functioning of its various systems. In a perinatal context, the osteopath can offer care to women in the process of fertilization, during pregnancy and post-partum. Pediatric osteopathy is dedicated to newborns, toddlers, children and adolescents.
What happens during an appointment?
During an osteopathic session, the therapist begins by asking a number of questions relating to your general state of health and the reasons for your consultation. This is followed by a visual and palpatory assessment. The session then continues with manual therapy (palpation, pressure points, mobilizations, etc.).
