Olivier Adams
Physiotherapist
A physiotherapist and kinesiologist, Olivier completed his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2020, followed by a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the Université de Sherbrooke in 2024. Driven by a deep passion for helping others and for overall health, he chose to build a strong and diverse expertise in order to provide precise, up-to-date care grounded in the best available evidence.
He began his career at Ekinox after being inspired by the team’s rigorous yet human clinical approach during an internship. Since then, he has actively pursued his professional development to offer advanced and comprehensive care to his clients.
Olivier has completed the Complete Concussion Management (CCMI) certification, allowing him to provide structured assessment and follow-up for concussions using internationally recognized protocols. He also holds certifications in radiography prescription and peripheral joint mobilizations, and has completed training in spinal manipulations, thereby expanding his advanced manual therapy tools.
In May 2026, he completed a graduate microprogram at the Université de Sherbrooke in musculoskeletal ultrasound and physiotherapy dry needling under the skin (PPAS). This specialized training allows him to integrate real-time ultrasound imaging into his clinical reasoning, increasing diagnostic precision and optimizing his interventions.
His clinical background has enabled him to develop skills across a variety of populations, including complex musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, cardiopulmonary conditions, and athletes of all levels. His strong interest in performance and biomechanics stems in part from seven years of experience as a running analyst in a specialized retail store.
He is a certified sports first responder, primarily working with hockey, football, and soccer teams, providing on-field care during practices and competitions.
In addition to his involvement with athletes, Olivier places great importance on caring for senior clients. Sensitive to issues such as deconditioning, fall prevention, and maintaining independence, he takes a progressive, safe, and individualized approach adapted to each person’s reality. He also provides home-based care and follow-ups when needed, helping create a reassuring and functional environment to optimize rehabilitation.
Furthermore, his 11 years of piano studies, culminating in the completion of his Grade 9 diploma from the Vincent-d’Indy School of Music, along with his experience teaching students aged 6 to 16, have helped shape his teaching skills, patience, and ability to simplify complex concepts.
Recognized for his clinical rigor, attentive listening, and deep compassion, Olivier adopts an individualized and collaborative approach. Whether optimizing an athlete’s performance or preserving a senior’s independence, he works in partnership with his patients to support a safe, lasting, and high-performing return to the activities that matter most to them.
